Cellist PETER SEIDENBERG served for four years as Principal Cellist with Century Orchestra Osaka. He has performed throughout Europe, the US and Asia, making his concerto debut in 1983 with the Chicago Symphony. He has been soloist with the DePaul Chamber Orchestra, the Eastman-Rochester Philharmonic and the New American Chamber Orchesta. He was a founding member of the Elements String Quartet and has played with members of the Cleveland, Tokyo, Juilliard and Emerson Quartets. He has participated in the Marlboro, Aspen and Norfolk summer music festivals. He tours with New York Chamber Soloists and has recorded for RCA, Pantheon and, with The Queen's Chamber and Trio, for Lyrichord Discs, Capstone and Albany. His recording of Johann Sebastian Bach's Three Sonatas for Viola da Gamba with harpsichordist Elaine Comparone won accolades from music critics world-wide.He teaches cello privately and at the Hoff-Barthelson School in Westchester County where he resides with violinist wife April Johnson and two beautiful daughters, Beatrice and Olivia.
